<description>A wonderful blog with so much great information on the Artichoke. I live in Morganhill, California and would love to grow some of these varieties, especially the Violette di San Erasmo. Would any one know where I might purchase the seeds of this variety and other varieties? Morganhill, California is about 70 miles south of San Francisco. with warm summers, July and August hi temps. can rearch 80 to 90 F. with mild winters with some frost but know snow. I have a few Chickens, for fun and the fresh eggs and three California Breed Rabbits. One Male and Two Females. I will have one to two litters of Baby Rabbits per year, which I sell localy to folks that want to start raising their own . I also have an arbor with grapes and every year I get some of my Grandchildren involved and we make a small batch of white wine.
Thanks for your Blog I really enjoy it.
